I suffered from migraines for years until i was refered to a “headache specialist”, not a “neurologist”, but a headache specialist, after my initial consultation, she felt that my migraines were caused by a vitamin deficiency, she ordered tests, and sure enough, B12 deficient. I experienced this one time, and tried to get my husband to take over baby duties, but I was still very actively breastfeeding (every couple of hours), it was brutal. I was happy when nap time came and I was able to follow the baby’s lead!

Oh and ear plugs might help to buffer the sound.

Ear plugs. Lay on the floor with your baby and let her terrorize you, that’s as good as it will get.

Unless you are an alcoholic, pour yourself a glass of wine, put on some mellow music and try rocking your baby. I find that rocking while standing with your baby is a good method for getting them to quiet down. You get a rhythm going and they like it.

In addition to your headache drug of choice put in some ear plugs. The Walgreen’s or CVS sells those spongy kind that you squish down and put in your ear. It numbs down the crying but you can still hear a bit. And maybe some sunglasses for the light issue?

i spent the first 8 weeks of my daughters life with a constant headache(along with sleep deprivation) i think near the end of it i kinda got used to it always being there lol but tylenol was a daily thing with me sometimes the early weeks she was a terribly fussy/crying newborn but now at 12weeks shes 1000x better
