Tramadol Prescription, Soma Carisoprodol

I’m having a big oral surgery in two days. I just picked up my medication because I will be going on vacation after the operation. I had four scripts filled but only three were for pain. The first on was for me to take the first three days after surgery it said MS Contin 100mg tabs Disp. #6. My dentist said this was an all day pain reliever, and he said to take one pill when I wake up and another pill 8-12 hours later if I was still in pain. The second one said Oxycodone HCl 30mg tabs Disp. #48 and he said to take one of those every 4-6 hours as needed for the pain or he said I could take them with the MS Contin every 8 hours if I was still in pain The third was Carisoprodol 250mg tabs, he said to take one before I go to bed every night and it would prevent me from grinding my teeth and causing extreme pain.

My question is how effective are these painkillers? I am going to be on vacation in northern Alaska so I don’t want to spend my vacation in pain, and I doubt there will be a pharmacy out there so I need the pills I have to work. And also, suppose they didn’t work, could I also take tylenol or advil? He also gave me a prescription for Amoxicillin 875mg tabs and said to take one with breakfast and one with dinner starting today, will those help with the pain as well.

One last thing. I just stopped taking oxycontin for my back a few days ago, I was taking the 80mg tabs , 2 a day. These worked very well so does coxycodone work better than oxycontin? because I usually take 80mg oxycontin for my back and he only gave me 30mg oxycodone tablets.

One more last thing, he said the MS Contin would make me very sleepy, how sleepy is this? Will I be falling asleep all day ro will I just be a little tired? And the bottle for the oxycodone says “Generic Eq: Roxicodone” so is it oxycodone or roxicodone?
